  • When can I bump in and pack down?
We rent the hall from 11:15 am to 4:00 pm so we can bump in after the Zumba class concludes (11:15 am) and pack down between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm.
  • Having your collection + stall featured
To feature in promotional materials please reply to this email to submit your image and wording ASAP. Please forward quality pics - at least 60KB - of your favourite/best/most outstanding/most unusual items. To be considered your submission must include a few words describing your collection. We will select a handful to feature on social media.
  • Is there an ATM nearby?
There is an ATM next door at the hill street grocer but not all market attendees will want to pay in cash. Please consider whether you would like your customers to pay you in cash/via eft/through pay id and depending on the option you choose, ensure you have change, your bank details etc clearly printed.
  • Where can I park?
Please park in the grassed area at the rear of the hall, this will ensure that street parking is available for our attendees.
  • What does the hall look like?
  • Is there coffee & snacks available?
We are looking to have an onsite coffee van at this market if this doesn’t pan out we have Dune Expresso and Daci and Daci across the road and a Hill Street Grocers beside the hall who all sell coffee.
  • What is provided and what do I need to bring?
There are plenty of chairs and pews available but you may wish to bring a comfy cushion to sit on. Some of you have opted to hire racks and tables as a part of your booking, these will be in position for you on the day. Bringing your own tablecloth and coat hangers will help you to personalise your stall.
  • Are there mirrors and change rooms?
For those of you who are selling clothing, if you have a freestanding mirror it would be useful to have one at your stall + there are bathroom facilities with a mirror that can be used as change rooms as well.
  • Pricing & Signage
Clear pricing and signage on your stall is important. You don’t want to miss out on a potential sale because your customer is unsure of the price or not confident enough to ask you. If you are open to customers bartering the more you buy the more you save then offer that too.
  • What is the best way to price?
Give some thought to your pricing, there is no right or wrong, there are many options. Such as grouping items together that are the same price e.g.: $10 rack or table everything one price. Individually pricing items with stickers or tags. Using signage to says all records xx $ CDs $ xx.
  • Stall sizes & Inclusions
You can book a single stall site for $39 this is approx. 1.5 x 2m, or a double that is approx. 3m x 3m for $59 and to save buying or bring tables or racks we also offer these for hire at an additional cost of $10. one of our regular stallholders with their double stall site a double rack/rail, available for an additional cost of $20
